Letters of Paul to Timothy and Titus

The Apostle Paul’s first letter to Timothy and the letter to Titus were written between AD63-65, after his imprisonment which is described in Acts chapter 28. The second letter to Timothy was written in AD 67-68 while he was imprisoned during the reign of the Emperor Nero. The letters give an insight into the last five years of the Apostle’s life and show that he spent the time on a fourth missionary journey. The journey will be re-constructed from the letters. Timothy and Titus received wise guidance on spiritual leadership from the Apostle, guidance which remains as up to date today as when it was written 2000 years ago.
